The RACQ estimates that 48 percent of Queenslanders don’t have their cars serviced on a regular basis, which can lead them to costly defects.
Service to your car can extend the life of your engine, reduce fuel consumption and increase safety. It will also prevent wear of moving parts.
Each manufacturer has a different service recommendation, so what should you do to your car?
The logbook will show you the recommendations of your carmaker for your service schedule. This includes how often you should have your car serviced, what maintenance you can do yourself, and when you should replace parts.
A professional should inspect your vehicle at least once a year or every 10,000 kms or 15,000 kms.
It’s easy for people to feel cheated if they don’t know what to do with a service.
There is no one-size-fits all approach to car servicing in auckland. The cost and frequency of car servicing will depend on the vehicle, which can include fuel type (petroletrol, diesel, or electric) as well as your drive type (AWD FWD RWD).
There are two types: minor and major services.
MINOR Service
This generally includes:
